Castor oil is obtained by pressing the seeds of Castor oil plant. It has a range of useful properties. There are references to its use in cosmetology in the chronicles of Ancient Egypt. Castor oil has a powerful healing effect. When used as a hair growth remedy, it gives your hair additional benefit by making it healthy, thick, silky and supple.
If you use castor on a regular basis it will not be long before you see the result.
Sour Milk & Castor Oil Mask
Pour 100 mg of sour milk in a bowl and put it in hot water to warm it up. Add a little castor oil. Rub this mask into the scalp, cover with a shower cap or a piece of plastic film and towel wrap. Shampoo your hair thoroughly after about an half hour.
Onion Juice & Castor Oil Mask
A mask prepared from two tablespoonful of castor oil mixed with an equal amount of onion juice will revive “dormant” hair follicles and make your hair thicker. Apply the mask to the scalp and cover with a shower cap or a piece of plastic film. Then towel wrap and leave the mask on for as long as you can bear. Shampoo your hair.
Lemon, Alcohol & Castor Oil Mask
Mix up equal amounts of lemon juice, spirit and castor oil in a small bowl. Apply the mixture to the scalp and leave it on for as long as possible. Leave it overnight if you can. At the end of the treatment, shampoo your hair thoroughly with warm water. If you do this treatment regularly, your hair will start growing considerably faster.

There are a number of methods how to use thisoil. We suggest a few of the most common:
- Add a little coconut oil to the water that you use for washing your hair. Optionally, you can add it to shampoo or hair conditioner. It is important not to overdo it to avoid oily hair effect.
- Apply pure coconut oil to the full length of your hair.
- Use coconut oil as a component of hair care masks along with other ingredients.
The first method is pretty obvious. Add as little as a teaspoonful of coconut oil to your hair wash remedy. Coconut oil will create a protective layer on your scalp and hair preventing proteins from washing out, which usually happens when you shampoo your hair. Besides, oil will prevent the risk of damage to your hair when you towel, comb and blow-dry it after washing.
To restore your hair structure, you should use organic coconut oil and apply it to the scalp. You will enhance the effect significantly if you warm it up over hot water before use. Put a few drops of oil on your comb and use it to spread the oil through your hair. Put on a shower cap or cover your hair with a piece of plastic film and towel wrap. Yogurt & Coconut Oil Mask
Mash up half a ripe banana. Add two tablespoonful of coconut oil and 200 mg of high-fat yogurt. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to make a smooth substance. Warm it up over boiling water. Apply the mixture to your hair all over, cover it with a shower cap or a piece of plastic film and towel wrap. Wash off the mask after half an hour or 40 minutes.
Garlic & Coconut Oil Mask
Crush a clove of garlic, add a quarter of a teaspoonful of chili pepper and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil. Mix all the ingredients up and rub the substance into your scalp. Make the mask every other day. After a fortnight reduce the number of treatments to twice weekly. After a month one mask weekly will be enough.
Yolk & Coconut Oil Mask
Combine 4 tablespoons of coconut oil and 2 egg yolks. Mix them up thoroughly and add the juice of half a lemon. Apply the mask all over your hair and leave for half an hour. Shampoo your hair. Add one tablespoon of vinegar to one liter of hair rinse to rinse your hair.

Olive oil contains:

Lemon & Olive Oil Mask
Combine two tablespoons of olive oil and a two teaspoons of lemon juice. Warm the mixture up slightly and apply it onto your hair. Cover your hair with a piece of plastic film or a shower cap and towel wrap. Leave it on your hair for at least half an hour, but preferably longer. Wash the mask off with shampoo.
Yolk & Olive Oil Mask

Onion, Honey & Olive Oil Mask

Sour Milk & Amla Oil Mask
To stimulate your hair growth, mix up two tablespoonfuls of sour milk and an equal amount of amla oil and put the mask on your hair. Leave it on overnight. Shampoo your hair in the morning and dry it naturally, i.e. without blow-drying or thermal styling.
Multi-component Hair Mask with Amla Oil
- Amla Oil — 1 teaspoon
- Honey — 1 teaspoon
- Alcohol of any kind (for blood flow to the scalp) — 1 teaspoon
- Aloe Vera juice — 1 teaspoon
- Essential salvia oil — 4 drops
Mix up all the ingredients and apply to the scalp. Leave the mask on for at least 20 minutes. Shampoo your hair thoroughly.
Avocado, Yolk & Amla Oil Mask
- Amla Oil — 1 teaspoon
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ avocado
Beat the yolk to a consistent lather, mash half an avocado and mix them up thoroughly. Add amla oil and mix up again. Warm up the mixture to 30o — 40o. Leave the mask on for half an hour, then shampoo your hair. Use this mask at least twice weekly for the best result.
Jojoba oil is obtained by pressing the seeds of jojoba plant. It is a bush that is grown in North, Central and South America. The Europeans became acquainted with its health-giving powers as far back as the XVIII century.
Jojoba has a wholesome effect both on the scalp and hair. It is mostly suitable for dry hair, stimulating its growth and making it look good. Jojoba oil creates a fine layer of each hair, which protects it from all kinds of damaging exposure.
Health experts claim that jojoba oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamins, including vitamins A, E, and D. These components will remove all irritations and pimples from your scalp. Besides, jojoba oil is an ideal remedy for hair growth.
There are several methods of oiling your hair with jojoba oil.
- Warm up a little jojoba oil. Apply it to your hair roots and spread the rest all over your hair. Cover with a shower cap or a piece of plastic film. Towel wrap. Shampoo your hair after about 20 minutes.

Sugar, Mustard & Jojoba Oil Mask
For this mask, you need 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of mustard and the same amount of jojoba oil. Mix up the sugar and mustard thoroughly, then add jojoba oil. Apply most of the mixture to the roots and spread the rest all over your hair. Cover with a shower cap and towel wrap. Do not leave it on for more than 20 minutes. If you cannot bear the burning, shampoo it off when you have to.
Yolk, Honey & Jojoba Oil Mask
Combine two spoonfuls of honey, one egg yolk and three tablespoons of jojoba oil. Mix thoroughly to achieve a smooth substance. Optionally, you can add one teaspoonful of alcohol. Apply the mask, cover your hair with a piece of plastic film and wrap in a towel. Shampoo after 30 or 40 minutes. We recommend applying this mask two or three times a week for as long as a month. It is a perfect remedy for weakened and damaged hair. It also prevents hair loss.
Avocado, Lemon & Jojoba Oil Mask
Mash one avocado and mix it with the juice of half a lemon. Add 50 mg of jojoba oil and the same amount of Aloe Vera juice. Apply the mask to wet hair, towel wrap and leave it on for an hour and a half. After that, shampoo and rinse with lukewarm water. For a better effect, add a little vinegar to hair rinse.
This cosmetic remedy contains a number of healing components which prevent hair loss. Ayurvedic argan oil has some non-saturated acids, palmitic acid, and oleic acid being the most valuable. Burdock Root Oil Extract & Argan Oil Mask
Put together one teaspoon of burdock root oil and the same amount of argan oil. Apply the mask and make sure you wrap it in a piece of plastic film and a towel to keep it warm. You will be amazed at the result after five treatments.
Multi-Component Argan Oil Mask
Mix up one teaspoon of argan oil and the same amount of castor oil. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice, 5 vials of vitamin E, 10 drops of vitamin A and one teaspoon of honey. Apply the mask on well-combed hair. Wrap in a towel and use your blow-dryer to warm it up. Wash off the mask after an hour and a half. You can repeat this treatment a few times per week to boost your hair growth and make your hair strong and healthy.
Yolk & Argan Oil Mask
You need two tablespoonful of burdock root oil, the same amount of argan oil and a yolk. Mix up all the ingredients and rub the mixture into the scalp. Massage your hair roots and spread the mask all over your hair. Wrap it in a piece of plastic film and a towel. Wash off the mask after a half hour. Black Cumin Oil

As a hair care remedy, black cumin oil is normally used topically. Genuine black cumin oil has to be dark but clear. There must be no sediment. Its taste is bitter. This oil is quite thick and sticky, therefore, it should preferably be mixed with other oils to achieve the best possible texture. Besides, the concentration of pure black cumin oil is too high for direct application. This is another reason why it should be mixed with other base oils.

If you are satisfied with the condition of your hair, put a little oil on your fingertips and massage your scalp for 5-10 minutes before bed. This practice will help you prevent any hair problems in the future. Shampoo your hair in the morning, if necessary.
However, if you want to accelerate your hair growth, you should use masks with rosemary oil as an essential ingredient.
Coconut, Yolk & Rosemary Oil Mask
Melt 1 teaspoon of coconut over boiling water. Mix it with 1 yolk and a teaspoonful of lemon juice. Add some four or five drops of rosemary oil. Spread the mixture all over your hair, cover with a piece of plastic film and wrap in a towel. Shampoo the mask off after three-quarters of an hour.
Honey & Rosemary Oil Mask
Warm up 100 mg of olive oil in boiling water and mix it up with an equal amount of honey. Add 4 drops of rosemary oil. Mix up thoroughly. Apply the mixture to your hair and cover with a shower cap or a piece of plastic film. Wrap in a towel. After 30 minutes wash the mask off and shampoo. It is advisable to use a shampoo for damaged or dry hair to enhance the effect of the mask.
It is worth reminding you, that hair should be left to dry naturally, i.e. without blow-drying or thermal styling.
You will need castor oil as the basis for this mask. Add 3 drops of rosemary essential oil, 3 drops of lavender oil, 2 drops of cedar oil and 2 drops of ylang-ylang oil to the base oil. Massage this mask into your hair roots, cover with a piece of plastic film and wash off after 15-20 minutes.
